Conditions on many area roadways continued to improve under sunny skies and warmer temperatures this afternoon, and Rutherford County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Please note that some secondary roads are still affected by packed snow and ice, while some refreezing is possible on other roads as temperatures fall overnight. School buses will not operate on icy roads. We have assembled a list of icy roads closed to school bus traffic, and we will update that list on our website and social media platforms by 6:00 PM each day. We recommend that all drivers remain vigilant and use extra care on area roadways in the coming days.
